How money-earning helps

Part of the thrill of planning your trip is raising money and knowing where each dollar is going to take you.  Money-earning is rewarding in so many ways and is a great way for girls to help pay for their trip while learning key life skills.

Money-earning teaches goal setting, budgeting, and team-building, while reinforcing the value of working hard for a common goal. It also promotes organization and cooperation, and enhances the educational value of the entire experience. And it’s a great way for your troop to stay focused. Whether girls decide to earn money individually or as a group, the efforts are sure to pay off.

“My girls are gung ho about money-earning. It gives them public speaking and planning skills and helps them appreciate the value of the trip. It’s a team-building exercise that really pays off.”

-Dianna, Leader, Saylorsburg, PA

Only EF Trips include special visits to the World Centres.

Visiting the WAGGGS Centres is very important to the girls. When I found out we could go to Our Chalet with EF, it was priceless. That clinched it for me - nothing else would do. I called right away.
